Recycling

Residential Recycling

Every week, residential curb-side recycling picks up blue box for plastics and the following weeks picks up grey box for paper. This service is for residential houses and apartments of four units or less. For apartment dwellers of five units or more, there are recycling depots where individuals can drop off their recyclables free of charge. The Depots are located at the Fredericton Exhibition Grounds, in the Canadian Tire Plaza parking lot, Wal-Mart parking lot at Two Nations Crossing and at the Brookside Mall. Depots are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Recyclables can also be dropped off right at the Fredericton Solid Waste Commission from Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays from 7:30am to 3:00pm at 1775 Alison Boulevard.
