HOW TO JOIN

Fredericton Green Shops is a program offered through the City of Fredericton's Green Matters Campaign.  

Participating businesses are encouraged to implement actionable items which simultaneously reduce their environmental impact and operating costs, and advance Fredericton's movement towards being a more sustainable community.

And joining is easy!

Email Green Shops to set-up an audit of your business

An auditor will arrive and complete a checklist of actionable items.

There is a $100 membership fee paid upon completion of the audit. The fee will earn you:

• Green Shops decal for your window
• Environmental Impact Reduction Workbook
• Follow-up and case study providing feedback, credit status and items to work on
• Green Shops logo for your website
• Your logo on Green Shops website
• Support from Green Shops Coordinator
• Access to a network of other "green shops"
• Public awareness of your membership
Once the auditor has completed your audit, you will be receive a total credit count and recommendations as to how to best work towards bronze, silver and gold status.
